Marie Webster Pattern Quilt

Description

This quilt is 86 by 86 inches and is a lightweight quilt with beautiful quilting. There are a few very light yellow spots (an attempt to show one is in one of the photos) and a few small brown spots on the back of the quilt. The appliqué and embroidery work is very well done. Although difficult to see, the two side background pieces where the flowers are going horizontally, from the bottom of the top panel to the bottom border are a cotton sateen. The back of the quilt is a solid white like the front. The border quilting is a fan design and the corners are quilted in a quarter circle pattern. The rest of the quilt is quilted in a diagonal diamond pattern.
