Spider Web Blocks

Description

A set of 11 spider web blocks that are made from scraps from the early 1900’s. They were pieced using newspapers. One of the pointed ends on one block still has the newspaper remaining and it has a date of December 15, 1934. Some of the pieces in these blocks are lightly stained. The hand stitching was done with very large stitches. The blocks are about 12 by 12 inches.
