Shelburne Museum’s Sarah Johnson Quilt Pattern Kit & Fabric

This kit includes instructions, templates and fabric for a quilt that is a reproduction of the Sarah Johnson quilt owned by the Shelburne Museum. Fabrics for the quilt were purchased from the Shelburne Museum and Vermont quilt shops around the year 2000. The set includes 60+ early 1800’s reproduction fabrics in various lengths (some less than a fat quarter and some closer to 1/2 yard size) a 3 yard piece of the border fabric that was designed expressly from the original quilt, which is enough to complete the border. Some of the fat quarters were designed based on the Sarah Johnson quilt. In total, there are about 20+ yards of over 60 different fabrics, enough to complete the main body of the quilt. The background off-white fabric is not included in the kit and would need to be purchased separately. This is a rare opportunity to create an exquisite quilt.
