Purple, Blue, Brown, Dark Red & Green Floral Scheurer Fabric Sample

Description

Cream ground with flowers in an urn. One edge has two small cuts where the piece was attached to the sample book. This sample piece was purchased from an auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer Company which was one of Europe’s great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. There is a label that reads “54368/Satin Couverture/1037”. This piece measures 32 by 19 inches. For a full view of this piece, click on the magnifying glass in the upper left corner of the photo. The brown flowers on this piece appear to smudged in some areas.  Another piece in the same print but slightly different color way and heavier weight fabric is AF6528.
