Late 1800’s Sampler Quilt

Description

This is a well worn, well loved quilt. It measures about 68 by 78 inches and is quilted in black thread in a fan pattern. The border is machine stitched. There is yellowing, fading, some frayed fabrics, a missing piece of fabric, a couple holes at the bottom of the quilt and some stains on the back of the quilt. The smaller four square blocks could use some repairs to restitch the squares together. The thinking is that the collector who owned this quilt really liked the different block patterns and the purple calico borders.
