Crazy Diamond Quilt Top

Description

This quilt top is about 74 by 83 inches. There are a few brown spots on the top and some are shown in the photos. Two conversation prints are used – one with flags and one with anchors and barrels. This is another great collection of fabrics from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The diamonds were pieced using newspaper and small bits of newspaper can be seen on the back of the quilt top. One newspaper piece is dated 1908. There is a small hole in one of the lighter blue diamond pieces as shown in the photo.
