1930’s Bow Tie Quilt Blocks w/Child Novelty Prints

Description

This is a set of quilt blocks recently made with fabrics from the 1930’s. All of the blocks are hand stitched and in excellent condition. There are 6 strips of 14 blocks; 5 strips of 16 blocks; and enough squares to make 10 more strips. The blocks are 3.5 by 3.5 or 3.25 by 3.25 when stitched together. This is a fantastic collection of prints from the 1930’s, including children’s novelty prints. Please see the last photo for some of the novelty blocks as well as the back of two of the blocks. Put together this will make a wonderful child’s quilt. One of the Seven Dwarfs appears in the second photo. When fully assembled, the top will be about 52 by 68 inches.
