1930-50s Cotton Crazy Quilt Top

Description

This quilt top is made from a variety of cotton prints from the 1930’s thru the 1950’s. Some of the pieces are made from feedsacks, novelty prints, plaids, shirtings and a fruit photo print. The crazy quilt pieces are machine sewn to blocks made of various cotton fabrics, including one flannel. The blocks are machine stitched together. There are two tears in one of the backing blocks. This top is a wide collection of fabrics from this time period. This is a very large top that measures 78 by 91 inches.
