1880’s Monkey Wrench/Four Patch Quilt Top

Description

This quilt top is 72 by 85 inches and has both hand and machine stitched piecing. The fabric used is indigo and cadet blue prints, pink solid, black and white prints, shirting prints, and pink and white gingham. There are a few very small brown spots on the shirting fabrics in the top. The black print has run slightly around one black print and a white and black dotted print. There is some light soil on one of the pink and white gingham blocks. All of these spots are visible only upon very close inspection. Some of the light spots you see in the photo are from lights and windows behind the hanging top. Overall the quilt top is in very good condition.
