Salmon & Yellow Flowers Scheurer Fabric Sample

Description

This sample piece was purchased from an auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer Company which was one of Europe’s great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. One edge has small holes where the piece was attached to the sample book. This is a 31 by 19 inch piece and there is some light fading on each edge. The label in the bottom right hand corner reads “18485 – Satin Couverture”. The back of the piece has “Deposé Registered” written in red. The writing cannot be seen on the front.
