Large Bouquets Scheurer Fabric Sample

Description

This sample piece was purchased from an auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer Company which was one of Europe’s great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. One edge has small holes where the piece was attached to the sample book. This is a 32 by 20.5 inch piece and there are a few light spots near the label. The label in the bottom right hand corner reads “69260 – Percale de Perse 4”. While the photo shows the center of the piece as lighter, it is not and likely due to the slight sheen of the piece.
