This off-white cotton piece is 36 inches wide by 2 yards long. As you can see from the photos, there are stains and soil on the piece from storage and various folds. The top label reads “Hill Manufacturing Co. – Lewiston, Maine.” Below the label “Pure – Soft Finish” is printed in dark blue. The lower label reads “Semper Idem – Trade Mark Registered 1880”. Below the lower label in dark blue is printed “Bleached & Finished – For The – Hill Man’Pg Co. – Lewiston, ME.” The price is for the piece. Hill Manufacturing was established in 1854 to make sheeting and other cotton goods.
