Bouquet on Tan Scheurer Fabric Sample

Description

Tan ground with large bouquets in burgundy and purple. One edge has two small cuts where the piece was attached to the sample book. This sample piece was purchased from an auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer Company which was one of Europe’s great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. The sample is 32 by 21.5 inches. There are a few places on this piece where red print from another sample piece bled thru. The red is very light and really doesn’t detract from the piece.
