Blue Flowers & Green Ribbon Scheurer Fabric Sample

Description

Light blue flowers on tan ground with green ribbons. One edge has tiny holes where the piece was attached to the sample book. This sample piece was purchased from an auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer Company which was one of Europe’s great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. There is light yellowing along one edge of this piece and a few light spots on the bottom near the label. The label in the corner reads “29259 Cretonne.O”. This piece is 32 by 19 inches.
